Retired from the Teamsters Union in '05, moved from Holbrok, Ma. to

Pahoa, Hi. on the Big Island, about 10 miles from where Mauna Loa has

been erupting since '84. Enjoying the weather. I've had a great life with

a great wife of 42 yrs. and a great family. If you're ever in the

neighborhood, we'd love to see ya'

Where were you when President Kennedy was shot? Describe the scene.

I was having makeup put on for the dress rehersal of our Senior class play, and the director and speech teacher Mr. Spinks ran in, out of breath, and gasped "President Kennedys been shot". It certainly made the play seem very insignificant. A terrible chapter.

Ray Homes asked about Deane Ford's early demise. He was killed in a car accident. I used to work with his mom and remember he passed just a few years after graduation. He was a nice guy.
