Paul used to stop at my family's house on Commonwealth Park and my sister, Carol  used to give us both a ride to Newton High School. I tried over the years just to say "hello" and only now, when I saw that he was no longer "missing" , I was hopeful that I could tell him that he was a really good guy and friend.  It saddens me to learn of his passing. It does make me happy to know that he married, had chldren and grandchildren. As I would have expected he had an exemplary life and I, among many others, thank him for his service to our country.
