Many of us live and die with untapped potential. I cannot speak for Fred beyond high school but for the years that I knew Fred that would seem to best describe him, a person with all sorts of untapped potenial. A lot better than an average athlete Fred possessed a great deal of energy. I see the energizer bunny and I think Fred - he was always all over the place. Fred was always doing something a bit differently than everyone else and sometimes it cost him. On the football field and off. But Fred was Fred. I am not sure how kind life was to him after high school but Fred will always be a big part of my high school memories. I pray, that at least in death, he is resting in peace.
